  “My father spent his last six months at Evergreen. Everyone there was very attentive and seemed to really care about my father’s physical health and quality of life. I visited daily and noticed his clothes and room were always clean. In fact, when I brought visitors with me, they were always surprised that it didn’t smell like a nursing home. There was never a time I was there that staff was idle or unavailable if we needed help. If a staffer couldn’t help, they would find someone who could. I’m not implying we didn’t have any issues, but all were resolved quickly with a follow up for me. Evergreen staff members were especially helpful when completing Medicaid applications and transferring Dad to Hospice coverage. The life coaches were encouraging residents to become involved with a variety of games daily and special events. The nutritionist met with me several times to brainstorm different ways/foods to encourage Dad to eat. To summarize, would I use Evergreen again……YES.”

  “My mother moved into Evergreen several months ago. She LOVES it. I am a pastor who has visited people in dozens of assisted living centers. What makes Evergreen so remarkable is the people. Many of the lead staff have been there for a long time. They are mission driven and people driven. They genuinely care about each resident. My mom loves the staff. She loves that the chef invites residents to help set the menus and solicits feedback. She loves walking in the courtyard, making friends and the activities that are planned. She'd lived alone before this - I'm convinced her move to Evergreen has not only added quality but years to her life!”
