  “It is terrifying here. I have been here since Thursday. And I have been dropped in the bathroom on Saturday.They didn't have the proper help to get me off the floor. Waited forever each time to get the bed pan. Got a call button Friday night. Got aTV Sat morning. I also will update this review Today is Sunday, and the CNA from this morning I explained I needed to go on the bedpan. She took care but when I was done she took the pan out and said turn over. She was going to let me laying urine. I said may I have some wipes. I had to wipe myself. I asked her not to home back in. Now no nurse was answering the call button. I have suffered waiting to be put in the bedpan. My breakfast was switched with the other person in the room. What I had eggs, waffles, were COLD. There was no sugars for the Cheerios. One butter for the cold waffles and I ketchup or extra napkins. Never got any breakfast. They do not care here. There is a number to call I have managed 1 time this morning to get thru but that was a joke. I have asked to speak to someone in charge, Joke. No one has come to my room because now they say no ones here on the weekend. I am not done with this review and will be updating.”

  “I will be doing a review on El Jen Healthcare and Rehab, now rebranded as Willow Haven. While I was at Centennial Hills Hospital, I was approved to be transferred there for rehab care. Everything was supposedly arranged, and transport was scheduled to pick me up at 7 PM. Before my transfer, I asked my boyfriend to visit the facility to make sure everything would be okay. He arrived around 3:15 PM and met with the administrator. The administrator confirmed my arrival and even showed him the room I would be staying in. We were told they would prepare my bed and get everything ready. Although the facility was older, we were fine with that as long as I received proper care. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill when I arrived. The first thing I noticed was the strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the facility. It smelled fresh, like someone had just been smoking nearby. Then I found out the staff on duty did not even know I was arriving. I asked for my medication because I had a severe headache, and they told me they did not have my prescriptions because they “didn’t know I was coming.” To make matters worse, I was placed in a bed without safety rails, even though I was considered a fall risk after everything I had just gone through medically. When I asked about it, I was told I would have to wait until Monday. This was Thursday night. At that point, I felt unsafe and completely unsupported. Because of my worsening headache and the lack of medication and proper care, I ended up calling 911 myself to be transported back to Centennial Hills Hospital. After being hospitalized for such a long time and going through such a serious health journey, this experience was extremely upsetting and disappointing. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend El Jen Healthcare/Rehab, now Willow Haven. The lack of communication, preparation, and patient care was unacceptable.”
